DRY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

How to install your graphics dry.

  1. Gather the necessary materials:

    • Vinyl decal with transfer tape
    • Clean, lint-free cloth or microfiber towel
    • Rubbing alcohol or a mild detergent solution
    • Squeegee or a credit card
    • Masking tape (optional)
    • Scissors or a cutting tool (if needed)

  2. Prepare the surface:

    • Clean the area where you'll be applying the decal. Use rubbingalcohol or a mild detergent solution to remove any dirt, debris, or wax.
    • Dry the surface thoroughly using a clean cloth.

  3. Position the decal:

    • Carefully unroll the decal with transfer tape and place it on a flat surface.
    • Use masking tape to hold the corners of the decal and secure it in place on the vehicle, ensuring proper alignment and placement.

  4. Remove the backing paper:

    • Lift a corner of the transfer tape and slowly peel away the backing paper from the vinyl decal. Be cautious not to touch the adhesive side of the decal.

  5. Apply the decal:

    • Holding the transfer tape and decal together, carefully position it onto the desired spot on the vehicle's surface.
    • Start applying the decal from one side to the other, smoothing it out gradually using a squeegee or a credit card. Apply even pressure to eliminate air bubbles and ensure proper adhesion.

  6. Remove the transfer tape:

    • After the decal is firmly applied, slowly and carefully peel off the transfer tape at a sharp angle, ensuring that the vinyl adheres to the vehicle surface.
    • If any part of the decal starts to lift with the transfer tape, gently press it back down and continue removing the tape.

  7. Finishing touches:

    • Inspect the decal for any air bubbles or creases. If you notice any, use the squeegee or credit card to smooth them out from the center towards the edges.
    • Trim any excess transfer tape or vinyl using scissors or a cutting tool, if necessary.

  8. Allow the decal to set:

    • Let the decal sit undisturbed for at least 24-48 hours to ensure optimal adhesion and durability. Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing it to extreme conditions during this time.
